Comments:We will be hosting 3 local animal groups: Almost Home Animal Shelter, Burlington County Animal Alliance, Philadelphia Greyhound Connection. Each pet that is adopted from this event will go home with a goodie bag full of information and coupons. We will also be having a chinese auction to raise money for bullet proof vests for a local police departments' police dog.

Comments:5th Annual "Because Your Dog is Worth it Too" Day that benefits the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and over 30 rescues/non-profits in attendance. Over 5,000 humans and 2600 dogs attended the 2007 event. Activities include: over 70 pet related vendors and manufacturers in attendance, on-site pet adoption, hay maze race for dog/owner, dog wash, dog costume contest, the only puppy limbo contest in the world, terrier hurdling, dog dock diving, dog trivial pursuit contest, NJ state dog bone stacking championship, doxie/pug/bulldog race, and professional photos and book signing with Elwood(the 2007 winner of the world's ugliest dog contest. Food,Music, boardwalk style games and customized doggie bags for all dogs in attendance. Guaranteed to be "the most fun a dog and it's owner can have in one day". $10 donation per adult.

All dogs receive free admission to the ball park. Pet owners who present an item for donation to a local animal shelter will have $1 taken off their price of admission.
