Comments:Join us on Sunday, May 6th from 10am to 2pm at Nomahegan Park on Springfield Ave in Cranford as we Walk for Paws (Rain Date 5/20). Contests for dogs include Best Trick, Best Kisser, Fastest Tail Wagger, Highest Jumper, Shortest Dog, & Tallest Dog. Dogs may enter all contests, but may win only one. Contests times are 11a & 1p. Every participant who turns in $100 or more in sponsor donations on the day of the event will receive a free PFA T-shirt. The top 4 fundraisers will receive a $25 gift card.

The goal of this seminar is to teach the handler and their dog how to safely throw and catch a flying disc. (Dogs should be interested in chasing toys/balls/discs)This four-hour seminar will cover the tools of the trade (which discs to use), a throwing program for the handler, and a method to teach their dog to catch safely and reliably. By the end of the seminar the participants will be able to enjoy a friendly catch, play some really neat games, and even compete with their best friend.DD2 (Disc Dog 2) This seminar is aimed at dogs and handlers who have completed Intro to Disc Dog (DD1), or already have some experience throwing, catching and retrieving discs. Attention is paid to each handler/dog team so that they can work on particular areas of disc dog development. Emphasis will be placed on playing specific games including distance and accuracy, bulls eye, and some thoughts on Freestyle.
